Boom Shankar Returns & Exchange Policy 2025

We hope you absolutely love your Boom Shankar purchase, but if it’s not quite right, we’re here to help with a hassle-free, no-handling-fee returns process. Below you’ll find our returns, exchanges, and faulty item policies for all our customers.


General Returns Policy
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, in original condition, with all tags attached and in their original packaging.

  • We cover return postage costs only if the item is faulty.

  • Sale and promotional items can be returned for exchange or store credit only (valid for 3 years).

  • Items marked FINAL SALE are not eligible for return unless faulty.

 


Returns – Australia
  • Items must be returned within 35 days of delivery.
  • Change of mind or size exchanges: $10 AUD Australia Post return label fee.

  • Refunds available for full-priced items only (excluding shipping costs).

  • Store credit (valid for 3 years) available for sale or promotional items.

  • All replacements are sent via Australia Post Express Post once your return is processed.

 


Returns – EU, USA & New Zealand
  • Items must be returned within 45 days of delivery.
  • Returns due to change of mind or size must be sent back at the customer’s expense.

  • Refunds available for full-priced items only (excluding shipping costs).

  • Sale or promotional items eligible for exchange or store credit only.

  • Instant Exchange available – we’ll ship your replacement item immediately before receiving your original back. A hold will be placed on your credit card and only charged if your return isn’t received within 28 days.

 


Faulty Items

We are so sorry if your order arrives faulty.

  • Please contact shop@boomshankar.com within 10 days of receiving your order with your order number, description of the fault, and clear photos.

  • We’ll review your claim and, if approved, offer a refund, replacement, or store credit.

  • Faulty returns are free of charge—Boom Shankar will provide a prepaid returns label.

 


How to Start a Return
  1. Submit your return via our Returns Portal.

  2. Select your preferred resolution: refund, store credit, or exchange.

  3. Follow the instructions provided for your region.

 


Additional Notes
  • Handmade & hand-printed items may have slight variations in colour, print, or stitching—these are part of their unique character and are not considered faults.

  • Please check the fit notes in each product description to ensure you select the right size, as fit is not considered a fault.
