3 Styles for Post Lockdown Fun

3 Styles for Post Lockdown Fun

Easy Read | 3-5 Minutes Read |

The beautiful Brea takes us on a trip into her living room while she had some fun playing dress-ups during lockdown. Brea was challenged by Georgie and Portia (our other Boom marketing angels) to create 3 different looks that she's ready to wear once lockdown is lifted.

Let’s have a look at her top picks for coffee with friends and a bit of wining and dining with her partner, and anything else that's social and fun when we're not in our homes...

💃🏻 💃🏻 💃🏻 💃🏻 💃🏻 💃🏻

The first outfit Brea has chosen is the adorable Queens East Top and she’s styled it with her own jeans and belt. This top is such a gorgeous statement, with a flamenco vibe, and even though it’s made as a crop top, it sits perfectly above the waist so when it’s worn with high waisted bottoms, it doesn’t show as much as you think. So for us curvy girls, it’s still a cute piece for your wardrobe that you’ll love to play with.

The Queens East Top is made from our signature block print fabric in 100% cotton, and features some lovely details, such as a beautiful big frill collar, a plunging neckline with a lace up opening at the front, billowing sleeves with elastic cuffs, and a side zip to make dressing easy. We especially LOVE the funky 1970s style block print of our Queens collection. It’s the perfect tones for winter, but being a nice soft flowing cotton, you can wear this piece all year round.

We think this style would suit all sorts of occasions, but for now, let’s go with a long lunch in Noosa followed by a cocktail or two after.

The second outfit Brea has chosen is our classic soft Merino wool Mustard District Jumper teamed with our spotty block print Newtown Grand Skirt and finished with a pari of tan ankle boots. For this outfit Brea has French tucked the District Jumper to give he more definition around the waist, but worn out also looks fine for a more casual style. The Grand Skirt is a classic and stylish piece and is fully lined, with an invisible back zip opening and back buttons, plus a matching fabric belt.

We think this combination would look fabulous worn as is, or accessorised with a fun coloured neck tie and stockings for those cooler days. It would suit a casual coffee catch up with friends, or even a day out at art galleries and museums. The classic style of the Grand Skirt with the black and white polka dots will never go out of fashion. Polka dots ARE fashion!

For the final outfit, Brea is channelling being wined and dined by the man of her dreams (aka her partner) where she is going somewhere sophisticated and lush (we guess it’s Locale in Noosa) so for this occasion she’s picked the Queens East Dress. We love those warm captivating tones of our gorgeous queens block print fabric, and the East Dress features side pockets, a drop waist, and a tiered bottom for a little feminine bounce, this dress is sure to be a head turner to those passing by. Or maybe we should say, the lucky person who’s on a date with you.

The Queens East Dress looks great styled with ankle boots (tan is always a great option!) or even some higher cut boots to give the dress a little sexier edge.
