There’s not much to say about this terrifying trio that you’ll recognise as ‘Team One’ from the Three Person Relay event held a couple weeks ago at the Boom Olympics. As individual athletes they are all top of their game. They make the other competitors shiver with fear, while the crowds shriek in anticipation. They continue to bring home golds year after year... but, will it be the same for the three of them this year?
We must wait and see!
Did you see Georgie aka ‘The Sniper’ last week in the Javelin event? She’s known for her deadly accuracy and killer competitive instincts, which we witnessed with her throw that won her gold, and put ‘Bullseye’ to the ground.
We’re still yet to witness Ajanta aka ‘Flipper’ in wet action in the pool. Touted as the next big thing in Australian swimming, when 'The Flipper’ glides through the water, with all the grace of a dolphin and the menace of a shark, her competitors shiver with fear. This is one event not to be missed!!
And last but definitely not least, there’s boxer Brea aka ‘The Stinger’. Did you know that the famous phrase ‘float like a butterfly sting like a bee’ was written about our very own stinger Brea? Frequently misprinted and misquoted, the correct saying is actually ‘float like a butterfly sting like a Brea’. Will she win gold in this years Boom Olympics boxing event?
But first, let’s look at their team event…
We all witnessed in the Team Events - Three Person Relay a couple of weeks ago ‘Team Ones’ precision and sportsmanship, which was second to none. Unfortunately to their disadvantage they only obtained silver, also known as lost. Regardless, clothing choices are always an important aspect of any Three Person Relay or field event, and sometimes just as important as the race itself. Athletes need to put serious consideration into the materials, cuts and even patterns of each garment, so they can move and groove when they’re on the track and running for gold.
So let’s take a look at ‘Team Ones’ choices for this years Three Person Relay event…
On the left (above) we have Ajanta ‘Flipper’ wearing the Solomon Indra Jumpsuit. She finds wearing a onesie works best, as she doesn’t have to pull up her pants while she runs, but still gives her freedom and movement. She’s styled it with her own sweatbands for ultimate moisture absorption.
In the middle, Brea ‘The Stinger’ has styled the Mustard District Jumper and Forest Kent Pants for her track event, allowing her to look good, keep warm before and after the race, and also run like a leopard. Her grace and style on the track equals her grace and style in photos. But don’t be fooled!
Finally on the right, Georgie ‘The Sniper’ is wearing the Solomon Farah Top + Moonlight Lux Pants. It might look like a pretty combo, but ‘The Sniper’ always has an ulterior motive, and this time it’s the shimmer of the lurex to distract the other team. Unfortunately her game plan didn’t work out this year.
Now, let’s look at them in their individual events… and what their fashions on the field choices are, or will be…

When not just sporting a swimsuit, Ajanta, aka ‘Flipper’, likes to look stylish and smooth, whilst always incorporating her sporting attire, with her funky attire. This year we’ve been told we’ll be seeing her at the diving box wearing the Queens Grand Jacket and matching Queens Grand Flare Pants, styled impeccably with a swimsuit. The crowds at the Boom Olympics are awaiting in anticipation to watch 100m butterfly championships, set to aired live this Friday.

When you need to throw your arms in the air like Georgie, aka ‘Sniper’, you can’t ‘just not care’ you must think seriously about clothing with shoulder room. At this Boom Olympics Georgie teamed the Mustard District Jumper and Moonlight Lux Pant for her individual Javelin event, that I think non of us will ever forget.

She may look sweet in the Manhattan Queenie Dress , but Brea, aka ‘Stinger’, is far from that. Brea told reporters, “Dressing like I’m going to a garden party, when really I’m going to the ring, is just one of my many tactics to distract my opponents.” “As if I’m going to a garden party!”.
This one really does have a sting.
